Policies and Guidelines


Scheduling Appointments

You are encouraged to schedule appointments at least 2 weeks in advance, especially prior to major holidays. This is especially necessary for gift certificate recipients.  You should plan on arriving 10 to 15 minutes before your appointment time, as to give sufficient time to check in, fill out any forms that may be necessary for your appointment, and just to get settled in so your appointment starts on time.  This allows for a stress free and relaxing beginning for your service.

Gift Certificates

In order to schedule the day and time that is best for you, please call 2 weeks in advance.  This may not always be necessary, but just to be on the safe side, this is recommended.  Please provide your gift certificate number when scheduling your appointment and be sure and bring it with you when you arrive for your appointment.  Please do not be offended if we ID you when using your gift certificate.  This protects the purchaser of the gift certificate, you and the spa.  Be mindful of the expiration date of your gift certificate and use it prior to that date.  The person that bought it for you meant for you to use it not lose it!  Your gift certificate can be used to purchase products in the spa, but has no cash value, nor is it transferable to another person.  Sometimes the gift certificate will have been purchased that includes a gratuity for your service provider.  You may ask at the time you check out if yours does.  Gift Certificates may not be used on the same day of purchase.  Any balance remaining on gift certificates of $5 or less will be considered redeemed.

Late Arrivals

In order to receive maximum quality service, please arrive on time.  If you arrive late 15 minutes or more for your appointment, your service will  be shortened accordingly or you may need to reschedule. Full service price or rescheduling fee will apply.
 

Cancellations & Rescheduling

A 24-hour notice of cancellation of your appointment or to reschedule is respectively requested. Otherwise a cancellation or rescheduling fee may apply, or if using a gift certificate, it will be reduced or considered redeemed. If calling after hours, please leave a voice message as they are checked regularly.  Our scheduling system is set up to email you with a confirmation of your appointment and a reminder.  Your email address is not used for solicitation purposes.  Also, DO NOT reply to the email reminder or confirmation, since the email address used for this is a NO-REPLY email address.  Please call, if you need to make changes to your appointment or cancel! 


What To Bring

If your service is for a pedicure, please bring open-toe sandals or flip flops to wear after your service. Disposable flip flops are provided in the event you forget.  Comfy spa robes and slippers are provided for your convenience for spa packages or if you are receiving several services.  We try to think of everything you might need while you're here, so bring your tired feet, aching back and stressed out body and let the staff at PAMpered Hands & Body Spa do their magic!
 

Valuables

The Spa cannot be responsible for lost valuables. Our staff will do their best to help you remember everything, jewelry, purse, wallet, jacket, etc., but ultimately this is your responsibility.
 

Medical

New clients should advise if there are any medical conditions, such as diabetes, pregnancy, chemo treatment, etc. that could alter a service. Regular clients should advise if there have been any medical changes since your last visit.
 

Cell Phones

Your service should be a relaxing time. Cell phone use interferes with your service and causes delays and may also be disturbing to other clients in the spa. Therefore, cell phone use should be kept to a minimum. Please have ring tones set to vibrate or a very low setting. For massage and skin care sessions, please turn off your cell phone.
 

Children

To insure your service is a time of relaxation and pampering, please make arrangements for your children. This is also a courtesy for other spa guests.
 

Sanitation Practices

Your health and safety come first. All implements and files are sanitized according to manufacturers instructions. Sanitizeable files are used on manicure and nail enhancement clients and for pedicures. All items that cannot be sanitized and are meant for one time usage, are disposed of after each client. If you have any questions or concerns about any sanitation practice, please mention it. We want you to feel completely comfortable in every aspect of your service.
 

Payment Method

Forms of payment accepted are most major credit cards, cash, personal checks, and Gift Certificates. There is a $30.00 charge on all returned checks.
 

Guarantee

Your time is important and valuable. Every possible effort is made to insure your service starts on time. Customer satisfaction is a top priority and all recommended services are guaranteed under normal use and conditions.
 

Gratuities

Our staff members are highly trained and skilled in their profession and their goal is to provide you with the best possible service. Gratuities are appreciated, and are not included in the price of services or gift certificates unless noted. Spa packages prices reflect gratuities for all services.
